That’s a beautiful car. In general, I think a lot of pre-war cars outside of the really, really special stuff like Duesenbergs and Bentleys are going to start collapsing in value in the coming years. At this point, there are few people left who actually ever lusted after those cars in their youth. At this point they’re the car somebody’s grandfather or great grandfather always wanted. Combine that with some really specialized upkeep and parts sourcing (or having your own made) and often not being particularly well suited for being used as regular transportation, and I feel a lot of cars of this vintage are going to be had for a lot less money that would’ve been the case in decades past.
